Trafford Golf Centre reopens following major refurbishment
Trafford Golf Centre reopened on Saturday 18 April at 7am following refurbishment works, welcoming visitors back to a refreshed range experience at one of the UK’s most popular golf and leisure destinations.
Visitors returning to Trafford Golf Centre can now experience:
50 refurbished and redesigned heated bays, complete with Toptracer ball tracking, Power Tee mats, improved seating and new 100% full-flight Srixon balls
A redesigned outfield featuring eight target greens, creating a more realistic golf course-style practice environment
Self-serve bay beer stations and a refreshed Bar & Kitchen menu, including Guinness on draught delivered straight to your bay
Additional left-handed and dual bays
Improved venue lighting and an upgraded sound system
Extended opening hours - Sunday to Wednesday: 7am-11pm, Thursday to Saturday: 7am-11.30pm
The ability to manage range credit via the GolfNext app
These improvements have been introduced to enhance the overall experience while making the range more accessible for all golfers, giving visitors even more reason to play, putt and practice.
The reopening marks the first phase of improvements at Trafford Golf Centre, with further additions, including premium lounge bays and EV charging set to open later in the year.
Pete Styles, Director of Golf at Trafford Golf Centre, said: “Trafford Golf has seen huge demand over the last few years, so this next phase is about improving the experience for the people who use the range day in, day out.
We’ve focused on the things that matter to golfers - better bays, a premium golf ball, a redesigned outfield and a more comfortable environment overall. This is just the start, with more still to come later this year.”
Trafford Golf will continue to operate on its popular arrive-and-drive format, allowing visitors to turn up and play without booking in advance. Bookable bays will be introduced later in the year.
Alongside the reopening, Trafford Golf has also launched a new website, providing a refreshed online home for venue updates, Academy information and announcements.
The reopening also marks a continued focus on The Academy, the UK’s largest golf coaching facility, with lessons available for all abilities, seven days a week. The Academy has also partnered with Caddie Couture to kit out its team of PGA professionals.
Located next to the Trafford Centre, Trafford Golf Centre is widely recognised as the North’s leading golf destination, offering a unique mix of golf, leisure and hospitality, including Dino Falls Adventure Golf and American Golf’s flagship retail store.
